Content Producer

Consultant

Leading Australian publishing business Nextmedia is looking for a content producer to work as part of the commercial team for its B2B digital publications: iTnews, CRN and Digital Nation Australia.

Reporting to the commercial editor, you will work with high profile clients, delivering commercial projects including digital content and physical events.

The content will be tailored to each brand’s unique audience of CIOs and CTOs (iTnews), channel partners (CRN) and c-level executives and board directors (Digital Nation).

Responsibilities include:

- Leading partner content briefing calls with clients
- Working with freelancers to ensure content is of high quality and meets each brand’s style guide
- Creating promotional material for digital and physical events
- Curating EDMs
- Creative producing audio and video content
- Leading social media strategy

The commercial content team sits at the intersection of sales, editorial, events, projects and marketing, and works alongside these teams to deliver the content objectives of digital and physical products such as articles, reports, video interviews, podcasts, roundtables, panels and conferences.

Qualifications and experience:

We are looking for an ambitious, diligent and self-motivated person to join our growing team, in a full-time capacity.

Ideally the candidate will have experience in communications, journalism, PR or marketing in business technology – or exposure to technology communications.

- 3+ years public relations experience, preferably in agency but not essential
- strong written communications skills. You’ll know how to critically assess complex B2B information
